Why does kissing on the lips for guys not mean the same as it does for girls?

The twenty-one-year-old woman who asked this went on to say, "What I mean is that when a guy kisses me on the lips, it means something special to me-that he's very interested. But many of my guy friends say kissing doesn't mean a lot to them emotionally." The answer is that most boys are emotional infants compared to girls their age. They know all the right things to say and all the right moves to make to get a girl interested. They know the trick about gentle kisses on the lips. They're fully aware that girls will interpret it as a sign of interest.

So they it, and hope for the best. This is not to say that guys are users and manipulators of their girlfriends' feelings. Only that they may not be as deeply affected by the intimacy of a kiss as their girlfriends are. Naturally there are exceptions, and it may be worth your while to find them.

For example, I recently heard from guy who drove more than a thousand miles from New Jersey Mississippi to give a girl he liked a hug. That kind of romantic interest is worth looking for.
